Linda Drummond is the President of Drummond Public Relations, and has been dedicated to “getting the word out” for over 25 years.Linda is a graduate of the University of Houston – School of Communication and has more than fourteen years experience working in television newsrooms.
Her clients include a variety of industries such as authors, optometrist, franchise owners, business coach, frame gallery, organizer and working with CMT on their new reality show “Trick My What” with host John Schneider.
An avid believer in paying it forward and in giving back, Linda belongs to several groups including the Professional Women’s Networking of Houston (PWNH) where she has served as Vice President and the social chair; BNI Memorial, where she is in her second year of serving as the Social Media/Public Relations chair and Social Chair; the Federation of Houston Professional Women (FHPW), where she has served as the Public Relations Chair, the 2011 Gala Chair and President-Elect for 2012, serving as the President in 2013.
Linda has been a member of the Houston Chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) where she has served as the Gala Chair for the past three years, and has served on the board as the PR Director and the 1999 President. She is a graduate of Leadership Texas.
Not only has Linda given her time to projects she believes in, she has been recognized by the National Chapter of NAWBO receiving the “Bridge Builder” Award and the President’s Award for “Getting the Word Out”. She has also received the FHPW Woman of Excellence Award and has been nominated for the Houston West Chamber of Commerce Star Award and The 50 Most Influential Women in Houston.
